Over the next several days, we are going to imagine the journey of the plant from seed to the surface. This is not a clear journey. There is no light to guide us. Only the call of the sun or moisture or the sense of air speaking to somewhere deep within your being. What calls your being forward?
Feel yourself as the plant today driving forward. Don't rush the process. Don’t seek the surface today. Feel the force driving you. What new freedom do you feel awaits you when you break free of the soil? What waits for you beyond your cave?
Like a plant seeking the surface, feel yourself pushing dirt to the side, forcing growth. What obstacles are falling away? What are you moving past as you rise?
You are no longer sitting in darkness. You're beginning to see the light, but you can't be fully in it yet. Feel the ache of creation. Feel the desire to expand and the need to be patient in that expansion. Can you allow life to expand in you, without trying to control it? Can you let the growth propel you forward?
Feel yourself pressing against the limits of your life as you clear a path to the light.
