Those of us that suffer elevated fight-or-flight responses usually have multiple conditions. It can be difficult in the beginning to track everything. So, I suggest you pick one condition that causes you suffering and use it as your gauge. It can be a physical illness or a mental condition. It could be a reactive state or a vulnerable state. It doesn’t need to be huge, but it does need to be measurable. Picking something you experience every day, will make it easier to track your progress. If you could measure one thing to see if your practices are working for you, what would it be?
